Gigi Hadid x Frankies Bikinis - our latest collaboration co-designed by our Founder and Creative Director, Francesca Aiello, and supermodel, Gigi Hadid. This collection is a sentimental one - filled with nature-inspired prints, soft colors, new fabrics, and dainty details on our signature designs. Perhaps the most sentimental pieces arrive in the toile print, which feature a G+F tree carving to represent Gigi and Francesca's longtime friendship.
Friendship was at the center of this collaboration, which is why a celebration with family and friends was absolutely in order. We met up with Gigi at our NYC SoHo store to commemorate the release of Gigi Hadid x Frankies Bikinis. Keep reading to see inside and find out all the details of the night!
Gigi showed up to the launch party wearing one of our favorite pieces from her collection - the Fawn One Piece in Yomi Toile Blue. Not only does the print feature the G+F tree carving, it also shows off a mother deer with her fawn, meant to represent Gigi and her 1-year-old daughter Khai. Gigi styled Fawn as a bodysuit, layering it under a cropped long-sleeve white collared top and pairing it with low-rise khaki trousers that slung below her hips. Gigi finished the look with a bright blue handbag, cream-colored stilettos, and an array of crystal jewelry.
Gigi (pictured above with Francesca Aiello and Co-Founder, Mimi Aiello) also wore our Daisy trucker hat, designed exclusively for her collection.
Friends and family who attended the event were able to view the entire collection in-person while eating Shake Shack, listening to Nick Hadad DJ, and have their names custom embroidered onto Boot Barn hats by Diana Dubuque.
Casamigos Tequila also partnered with us on the event to create custom drinks, "Frankie's Passionfruit Elixir" and "Gi's Countryside Lemonade".
Since the collection was inspired by nature and countryside living, the Frankies SoHo store was decorated with florals by Fleurotica Flowers (Robin Rose Hilleary).
It was a special night filled with lots of love shared between Gigi, Francesca, and those closest to them.
